However, embroidery stitches are more difficult to remove than regular sewing stitches, due to their density and close spacing.
A razor and a tennis ball can make removing stitches easier. Place the embroidered area face down over a tennis ball and pull the fabric tight. The tennis ball creates a hard surface that is easy to hold. The back of the embroidery faces upward and is curved, which means that there is less chance to mistakenly cut the fabric. Working on the back side of the embroidery, with the stabilizer between you and the fabric, shave the stitches using short strokes and gentle pressure,
While there are more expensive tools made specifically to remove embroidery stitches, the tennis ball method is probably one of the easiest and fastest.
